何年か前にキッズガレージにも遊びに来てくれた

韓国のカーオーディオ輸入商社の社長のブライアンと

インストールの指導をしてるグリーンベアに会いに

韓国ソウルに行ってきました。

I went to Korea to meet Brian and Greenbear,they also visited my shop 2 or 3 years ago. Brian is a distributer(I think one of the biggest distributer in all over the world) of car audio in Korea,and Greenbear is a instalation teacher work under Brian.

ソウルはこの日マイナス８度！

前の週は日本も寒波が来たけどソウルはマイナス１６度とかまで

いったので大きな川でも凍結してるし海も港とかは氷が張ってました。

At that day, the temparature was negative 8 degree in Seoul!
last week it was colder(probably around negative 16 degree) than this week same as Japan,so I saw frozen rivers  and some seashore were also frozen!!

初めて行きましたがブライアンの会社予想してたよりデカイ！

このほかにもアンプの工場も持ってます。

ここは輸入したカーオーディオの倉庫兼オフィスです。

This time was first visit to his company,it was really big than I expected!

Those buildings are office and wearhouse.

He has another factory for amplifires produce.

これはデモカー、ブライアンの会社には10台ぐらい

高級車のデモカーがあります。営業スタッフはそれらの車を

支給され営業に行ってます。そりゃやる気も高い筈です。

They are demonstalation cars.
They have nearly 10 demonstalation cars,and sales persons drive those demonstalation cars when they visit local dealers.
So they must be happy and they are proud to being sales person of Ariel corpolation,it's makes good sales number and make Brian happy too!! haha 

でこちらがブライアンの会社のインストールルームです。

日本でいうとイースコーポレーションのETTAみたいな感じですが

ちょっと変わってるのが、ココで販売店が出来ないような

大変な仕事を引き受けて取付もしている事です。こんな形態の輸入元は

世界中探してもなかなか無いと思います。

This is Brians install area for car audio,

In Japan, Harry (E's corporation) also has same kind of building called ETTA.

But Brian's install room accept instalation from Local dealers,

Mainly Greenbear make enclosure speaker box for Bewith,those instalations are very difficult and needs special knowledge and skills,so Greenbear and other staff menbers make the box instead of local dealers,so local dealers don't need care huge instalation time.
This is very special way of helping dealers business.

ブライアンは主にSTP・FOCAL・BEWITHなどを輸入しています。

Brian mainly import Bewith and Focal and STP,DD,Raibow・・・

こちらは韓国のレザーかと思ったら日本からのもありました。

韓国のは色の種類があまりなく日本から取り寄せてるらしいです。

Some of leathers were  imported from Japan

In Korea ,Leather quality is  good enogh,but they dont't have many color line up.

入庫してるのはBMWで、フロントのスピーカーがインナーバッフルで

取付してあったのですが、このスピーカーの性能を発揮するには

エンクロージャー(スピーカーBOX)に入れなきゃいけないとの事で、

グリーンベアがエンクロージャーを作成しドアパネルに取付している所でした。

There was BMW in the Instalation area,the BMW was installed speakes by inner buffles,but for  exploit speakes ability ,they should be instaled in enclosure boxes.
Greenbear just finished making speaker box,and he make it together with door panels.

エンクロージャーは完成しドア内張りにも既に取付してあったのですが

日本だとパテでエンクロージャーとドア内張りを一体していくんですが

グリーンベア達は何か粘土みたいなのをペタペタ貼っつけていきます。

何それ？！と思わず食いついてしましましたが

Normaly we  put putty for install car audio.
He use special regine that we never saw in Japan.

I really surprised and asked  "What's that?!!"

日本で言うところのエポキシパテで２つの材料をミックスして練り合わせると

３時間ぐらいたつと固まるらしいです。

In Japan we call them cray putty ,but they are very expensive,we cannot use them for wide area.
He told me they will be hard nearly 3hours,but he told me its okay ,he can do other work during they will be hard.

こういう風に帯状に伸ばして

 can meke it long easily.

接合部に張り込んでいきます。

And put them between Box and door panel

めちゃくちゃ作業性良さそうです。

looks very easy!!

ヘラで余分なところはカットし

He make them slim to reduce sanding process.

このように馴染ます事もでき、このあと硬化したら削って(削るのも楽）

一回パテを軽くもればレザーが貼れるらしいです。

なかなか勉強になりました。

After they got hard,We can shape them easily too.

Of cource they use putty too,but only one time.

I stay there short time but I could see their great job,I am really lucky guy!

では次は木工室

Then next,lets go to woodcraft room!

20畳ぐらいでしょうか？十分な広さで、それぞれの工作機械が余裕

をもってレイアウトされています。

I can't recognize how much suquare meter? but It's must be more than 20TATAMI space in Japanese,haha sorry.
Greenbear lay out  all machines in enough space.

ピンルーターにモービルソリューションのガイド、バキュームシステムなど

グリーンベアが6・7年前にこの部屋を作ったと言ってたので

当時でこのレベルだと日本と同じもしくは進んでたぐらいじゃ

ないでしょうか。

Although Greenbear made this room 6 or 7 years ago,this room were  equipeed all machines and tools same as Japan now.
At that time I seldom saw woodcraft room same as this.

上部の棚には各車種別のエンクロージャーの型が・・・凄い量です。

さすが韓国のエンクロージャーの８割ぐらいを作ってるだけはあります。

They are copy of enclosure boxes,he produced more than 80% boxes in Korea till now.

ボール盤にスライディングサークルソー　右側はトイレで

左側はサンディングルームです。

ツイーターマウントなどの部品のペイントもここで行っています。

小さい部屋ですが集塵機の設置されてるので快適に仕事が出来そうでした。

He paint small parts in this room too.

Although this room is small,but they have vacume system too,so looks comfortable.
